Rev. Demetrius A. Price

Pastor Demetrius Price is a native Washingtonian, born to his parents, the late Diane Price and James Talbert, who now watch over him from the balcony of Heaven.

​

At the age of ten, he surrendered his life to Christ and was baptized at Pennsylvania Avenue Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Pastor Charles Worthy. His ministry journey began in May 2000 as Youth Director at Disciples of Christ Outreach Ministries under Pastor Kevin Mincey, and in June 2005, he was licensed to preach the Gospel.

June 2006 Pastor Price continued to serve faithfully as Youth Minister at Mount Sinai Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Tyrone Queen, where he was ordained to the Gospel Ministry. In 2012 He  served at Reid Temple AME Church as Youth Minister and Manager Minister for the Evening Worship Services under the leadership of Pastor Lee P. Washington. His faithful service in Youth ministry concluded in August 2021.

In September 2021, he began serving as Director of Ministry at New Life Church under Pastor Omari Hughes. In March 2023, Pastor Price accepted the call to serve as Pastor of Union Baptist Church in Easton, Maryland, where he continues to lead with faith, humility, and vision. 

Pastor Price is both academically trained and spiritual grounded; he holds a Bachelor of Theology and a Master of Divinity from Washington Baptist Theological Seminary.

 He is blessed to share his life and ministry with his beloved wife  Dr. Kendra Price of Bolton, North Carolina. Together, they share an everlasting love for God and one another.
