About UBC
Union Baptist Church was officially organized in 1887 on the Eastern Shore of
Maryland. The mission of Union is to seek and glorify God in everything it does. To
provide a foundation for Christian development and growth. To provide a foundation for the enhancement of Christian maturity.
Union Baptist strives to proclaim the Gospel to all people through Christian
teaching, planning, and training of our local congregation and community. Union
seeks to build and maintain reciprocal relationships with other Christian churches
and community organizations.
Union Baptist Church is located in the rural area of Talbot County and strives to
build bridges within our community to reduce disharmony and foster social
cohesion. We offer services and programs that promote community participation
and empowerment, giving people increased opportunities for self-determination.
We seek to develop innovative educational opportunities, referral to
professional resources, outreach, and assistance through Senior and Youth
centered services.
